Drivers, sales professionals, and our highly skilled coordinators.
Our Drivers
To become an Allied qualified driver means you reached the top of the industry. These drivers must meet safety standards that are more stringent than what the U. S. Department of Transportation requires. They must get through Allied University, which has set the standard for professional furniture handling techniques, safety and customer service. This classroom setting provides both simulated and hands on training of the most current and efficient moving methods available in the business.
Our graduates have increased safety performance and lowered claims by utilizing the skills and knowledge they gain at Allied University. After graduation our drivers are constantly graded on their skill level. The quality survey along with claims experience measure our driver’s performance throughout their career. These same measurement tools are used for our loading / unloading crews, packers, and coordinators.
The J. D. Carton & Son team has over 4,200 drivers at our disposal through our extensive network of agents. A large percent of these drivers are self pack, haul and unpack qualified. If your executive transferee requires this high level of service you can count on our coordinators to arrange it. Our network of agents includes 500 in North America and we have locations in over 34 countries. All of these agents are monitored and scored, through our quality system. The J. D. Carton & Son team will only work with the agents providing quality service to make every employee transfer a smooth one.
Our Sales Professionals and Coordinators
All of our sales people and coordinators are members of Allied’s Professional Sales Association. The PSA’s central mission is to provide education, values, and recognition and promote teamwork. All of the training is quality based and promotes professional development. They receive the proper tools and techniques to be the most responsive to our customers needs.
Our sales and service professionals improve their skills through seminars, interactive training via an exclusive intranet, sponsored industry classes and at our annual professional conference. These people are the best at knowing how to estimate cost accurately, helping customers with relocation concerns and discussing valuation programs.
